When the food prep is done, the board wipes clean easily with soap and warm water; please do not soak or wash in the dishwasher. Keeping your board oiled and seasoned will not only bring out the deep colors but also extend the life of the board. 

** We recommend engraving the backside of the board for ease of cleaning and care on the juice groove side which is meant for carving. 

Please note that no two boards are alike. Each board offers a wide variety in shape, graining and color. Accordingly, no two engravings are exactly alike. Some boards engraved darker and deeper depnding on the graining pattern and oil content of the board.
